Mieke Gerritzen

Mieke Gerritzen (1962) was born in Amsterdam. In the early nineties Gerritzen was one of the first designers involved in the development of digital media in the Netherlands. She makes designs for all media and works with many different designers, writers and artists. She has a couple of successful publications on her name: Catalogue of Strategy, Everyone is a Designer, Mobile Minded and Next Nature. Mieke Gerritzen is former head of the design department Sandberg Institute, master program connected to Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
Gerritzen is currently director of the Graphic Design Museum in Breda. Gerritzen is also director of All Media Foundation. Mieke Gerritzen received many prizes and gives lectures and presentations worldwide.
